Casa El Mirador is located on a hilltop above the typical white mountain village of Arenas, in Andalusia. This beautiful villa offers fantastic 270 degree views of the mountains of the Sierra Tejeda National Park, the Mediterranean Sea, several white mountain villages and on clear days even the Rock of Gibraltar and the African coast. Sunsets are often enchanting.
The house is suitable for 6 people and is located in a quiet area. It offers a beautiful enclosed Mediterranean garden with privacy and a heated private swimming pool. The perfect place for people who want to enjoy a relaxing holiday in a quiet place, but who would also like to experience the busier entertainment. The lively beach of Torre del Mar is just 25 minutes away. Velez Malaga, the capital of La Axarquia, is a 20-minute drive away and Malaga Airport approximately 50 minutes.
Casa El Mirador is located in the heart of La Axarquia, a region in Andalusia, known for its mild, very sunny microclimate. The winters are less cold and the summers less warm. The average temperature in the summer months is around 30 degrees. With an average of 320 sunny days and almost 3,000 hours of sunshine, it is the sunniest region on mainland Europe.
The Casa has a beautiful, well-equipped kitchen and a living room with lots of light. The living room overlooks the swimming pool, the mountain landscape, the sea and the coastline of Malaga.
The house has 3 bedrooms, each with a spacious king or queen size bed and a beautiful view. The master bedroom offers an ensuite bathroom with toilet. There is also a comfortable second bathroom with bath, shower and toilet and a separate guest toilet. The house also has a beautiful conservatory that connects to the veranda with sliding glass doors. Both the conservatory and the living room are very suitable for enjoying enchanting sunsets during cooler evenings in the early and late season. All rooms, kitchen and conservatory are air-conditioned. The total living area is approximately 190 m2.
El Mirador is surrounded by a beautiful, well-maintained Mediterranean garden with palms, cacti, agaves and colorful flowers. The garden has several seating areas to enjoy the beautiful views and often breathtaking sunsets.
The veranda adjacent to the conservatory offers extra shade and contains a Moroccan dining area with BBQ.
Heated swimmingpool
Our large swimming pool can be heated on request. Pleasant swimming is also possible in the early preseason or late late season. The pool has a large terrace with thatched parasols and sunbeds. The comfortable sunbeds are also very suitable for enjoying the fantastic sunsets and later the beautiful starry skies.

I am Wim. As a family we have been enjoying holidays in various places in Andalusia for many years. At the end of 2021 we found our own place above Arenas. We were immediately touched by the beautiful panoramas and the often spectacular sunsets. Since then we have improved and refurnished our house. We would like others to enjoy this beautiful place.
